Hello fellow SOG members,
I am very interested in exploring the current state of gilding and gilding conservation in Cuba.  If you have any contacts there, or suggestions re. arranging a visit to studio/s there please forward your thoughts to me.  I am aware of the travel restrictions, but believe it can, and should be done in the name of cultural exchange.  I of course would document well and report all back to the Tip!
Thank you, Elizabeth.

Hi Elizabeth, I am not sure how to go about getting information regarding gilding in Cuba. Have you contacted Bill A on this. He may have some thoughts. It is an interesting topic. You might also check with some of the gold leafing suppliers such as Sepp, Easy Leaf, etc to see if they have any customers who are doing business in Cuba or if there are gilders state side who have been involved in gilding in Cuba.
