Midtown manufacturing studio is seeking a gilder to join our studio staff team to water-gild hardwood lamp bases including pre-sanding, applying gesso, wet-sanding, and burnishing.
Ideal candidate will have experience working as a gilder, but we are willing to train a motivated person who has relevant experience.
All employees are expected to help with general studio maintenance. Duties may also include assisting with lamp assembly and wiring.
All candidates must:
· be detail-oriented and hard-working
· consistently produce high-quality work under a deadline
· organize and communicate clearly about work flow
This position is hourly and full-time.
