Are you interested in teaching?
The Society of Gilders’ core mission is to promote the Gilding Arts and to educate all of those who are interested in learning about the many disciplines of the Gilding Arts. Our Community of members is a great source to find those who are interested in teaching for the Society. Have you been Gilding for years and feel that you have the desire to share your knowledge?
Our classes are suitable for those looking to learn new skills or to hone their skills while studying with their contemporaries. We have structured our education program to work with the finest gilders who want to help us fulfill our mission and follow a high level of ethics in their teachings, and who believe in conveying a positive image of the Society of Gilders.
As many members know , I learned how to gild through the Society and after a few years felt that I could teach others about gilding while benefiting from the experience of sharing information and techniques between Teacher and Student. I personally find this very rewarding. I always continue to learn. So, I encourage you to consider this noble level of contributing to the longevity and perpetuation of the Gilding Arts.
