Bio
For over 30 years, I’ve dedicated myself to the timeless art of gilding and the delicate work of conservation. My journey has taken me from Italy to Israel, restoring and preserving cultural treasures. Some of my proudest moments include working on the restoration of the revered Italian Torah Arks in Israel, the gilding of the Menorah in Jerusalem’s Jewish Quarter, and the restoration of the Chair of the Pope in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. As the founder of Studio Oro, I’ve created a space where tradition and innovation come together. Here, I specialize in both classic gilding techniques and contemporary decorative finishes, always with a deep respect for the craftsmanship of the past. I’m also honored to be a member of the Society of Gilders and the Israeli Heritage Conservation Organization, and I love sharing my passion for gilding through workshops and collaborations with artists, architects, and designers. To me, gilding is more than a craft—it’s a way to honor history, beauty, and the stories that art can tell. I am committed to passing on this art form to future generations, preserving the treasures of the past while pushing the boundaries of what gilding can achieve
