Gilders on Zoom! presents Sean Michael Felix – Friday, October 17, 2025
We’re excited to welcome Sean Michael Felix, founder of Illumination Art & Design in Chicago, Illinois.
For over 20 years, Sean has specialized in gold leaf signwriting, pictorial stained glass, and traditional glass techniques including glue chipping and mirror etching. He has a special interest in Turn of the Century ephemera, and cats. From his storefront studio on North Ave in Chicago, he is actively involved with the local arts community and national wide organizations. Full of life and stories, Sean is an active member of the Society of Gilders and Glass Art Society. He brings his knowledge to others through the workshops he teaches and recently was an instructor and entertaining lecturer at our 2024 SoG Conference in Charleston, SC.
